NWKCOG Woodford Avro Heritage Museum Photo Shoot and Charity Day

We parked the cars in the museum car park. Paid the entrance fee of £8 at the reception. Once assembled all our group at reception one of our volunteers unlocked the Vulcan enclosure gates. We then drove the cars into the enclosure and assembled them for a photograph. After taking our photographs the cars were returned to the museum car park and then we were free to view the museum and visit the cafe etc.

ELAN VALLEY 2 DAY TOUR 2018

This was a Two day tour to the Elan Valley. Driving though some of the most beautiful countryside in mid Wales, with an overnight stay at the Highland Moors Guest House B&B which cost £60pp and an evening meal could be ordered at an extra cost.

DAY 1. We set off from the Trevor Arms in Gresford, address Marford Hill, Marford, Wrexham LL12 8TA at 9.30am and took a leisurely drive down to the valley taking in two Dams. The first is Lake Vyrnwy, then on to the DEVILS Bridge where we stopped for refreshments then on to THE VALLEY stopping at the visitors centre. then to the Hotel to freshen up.

Day 2. Left the hotel and made our way to and through the Abergwesyn, Tregaron Pass, on the coast to Aberystwyth up to Machynlleth, Dolgellau. Then on to Bala lake. finally getting back to the beginning of the Trevor Arms.

NWKCOG Hard Core Blackpool lights Charity run & Chippy tea

A get together to raise more funds for Charity. last year's run to the illuminations and some CHIPS!! There was a £5 entry and all the proceeds went straight to Claire House Hospice. We met at 7pm at the Tickled Trout Preston New Rd, Samlesbury, PR5 0UJ then on to Blackpool Via Lytham St Annes, stopping on the green in front of the windmill for a photo shoot then on for the lights and a chippy tea!!
